Size E-Block

Block batteries (9volt) are common batteries in the well-known "block" shape with the connections on 1 side.

They are used for a wide variety of applications, but mainly in smoke detectors.

Other names are: 6LR61, MN1606, MX1604, 1604A, 1604G, 6F22 en E-BLOCK. 
9 volt batteries are also available in Lithium and rechargeable.
